AEZS vs. KERX
GlobalData’s analysis of GHD epidemiology in the seven major pharmaceutical markets (7MM) of the US, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the UK, and Japan determined that the diagnosed prevalent cases of GHD for all ages will increase from 109,551 cases in 2016 to 112,450 cases in 2026 at an annual growth rate of 0.26%. Children aged less than 18 years old make up about 40% of the prevalent population, at 45,491 cases in 2016. https://www.clinicaltrialsarena.com/...t-in-children-unclear-5881711/

November 2016 registered direct offering | 945,000 | 4.70 | May 1, 2020 |
Eventuell auch bis nach den
December 2015 registered direct offering | 2,331,000 | 7.10 | December 13, 2020 |
Warrants.

"Strongbridge and NovoNordisk are engaged in discussions following receipt of a notice from NovoNordisk that indicates as of December 1, 2019, it intends to cease the use and funding of the Strongbridge field team for the promotion of MACRILENä (macimorelin) in the U.S." https://finance.yahoo.com/news/strongbridge-biopharma-plc-an…
Novo trickst scheinbar mit allen Mitteln

"Novo Nordisk will leverage and fund Strongbridge’s rare endocrine commercial field organization for MACRILEN for up to three years."
"Strongbridge will receive tiered royalties related to the sales of MACRILEN through 2027"
"In addition, Novo Nordisk will purchase approximately 5,242,000 ordinary shares of Strongbridge Biopharma plc at a purchase price of $7.00 per share, representing a premium to the most recent market close share price. This investment will result in gross proceeds of $36.7 million to Strongbridge."

@AuntMarie Very positively. IMO, Novo is going to end its agreement with SBBP and pay breach of contract or wait it out in court, SBBP can't fight them they're too small. Novo will integrate Macrilen internally, and will pair it with its upcoming Growth Hormone Deficiency treatment. I believe this was the plan all along - to pair the two, to have the diagnostic and the treatment- makes it easier with insurance reimbursement, and the understanding of overall treatment by medical professionals. I can't say whether Novo will buy AEZS outright, which was my original thesis - I would assume they will wait to see how sales fare once it is internally integrated. If it goes well, then I would hope for a BO. However, since Novo fully understands how insurance companies work, reimbursements should follow, which either will result in a lucrative (albeit smaller than we wanted) royalty for AEZS, which they can parlay into an EU license, or an outright BO. Good luck
