Orko Silver Hits 20.85 Metres Grading 458.3 g/t Silver-Equivalent on Martha Vein Including Over 3 Metres Grading Greater Than 1.5 Kilos
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - March 31, 2008) - Orko Silver Corp. (TSX VENTURE:OK) is pleased to announce that it has received further assay results from its on-going diamond drilling program at La Preciosa Project in Durango, Mexico.
A deepening of hole BP06-71 was performed in late 2007, from 251 metres to a new depth of 533 metres, and the extended hole name was changed to BP06-71ext. The Martha Vein was intersected at a depth of 389.43 to 411.62 metres for a true width of 20.85 metres grading gold 0.414 g/t and silver 433.5 g/t, for a silver-equivalent of 458.3 g/t. Within this interval is a true width 3.05 metres grading gold 0.802 g/t and silver 1,547.4 g/t, for a silver equivalent of 1,595.5 g/t.
Hole BP06-71ext is located southeast of and adjacent to the area reported in the 43-101 compliant Resource Estimate (news release 01 October 2007) for the Martha Vein, thus will be included in the next estimate.
In addition, the extended holes BP06-74ext, BP06-70ext, BP06-64ext, BP06-62ext and BP06-60ext also intersected the Martha Vein (see tables below).

It is located on the east side of La Preciosa Ridge, azimuth 000 degrees, dip -90 degrees, 100 metres south of hole BP07-135, on mine-section 14,900 N. Hole BP06-62 was drilled in 2006 east of the outcropping Abundancia Vein in the "Mina La Preciosa Sector", on section mine-grid 15,200 N, to test the Luz Elena vein. In late 2007 the hole was extended to a depth of 480.06 metres to test the Martha vein. The Martha vein is a network of veins and veinlets in this hole.

Hole BP06-60ext is located in the "Mina La Preciosa Sector", high on La Preciosa Ridge, on section mine-grid 15,200 N, east of holes BP05-03, 04 and 07, and west of hole BP06-62 and 64. Orientation was azimuth 090 degrees and dip -80 degrees. It was designed to pass through Abundancia vein, targeting the Luz Elena vein when initially drilled in 2006 and was extended deeper in late 2007 to intercept Martha vein, with the end of hole to 517.25 metres. Martha structure is present, with elevated base metal and gold values, but is low in silver.

Orko Silver: Ergebnisse der Tests zeigen Silberausbeuten von bis zu 90% !
Vancouver, 17. April 2008. Orko Silver Corp. (TSXV: OK, WKN: A0J KUL) freut sich bekanntzugeben, dass Ergebnisse aus dem ersten Labortestprogramm zur Untersuchung der Mineralverarbeitungs- charakteristiken der La Preciosa Silberlagerstätte eingetroffen sind. Die Ergebnisse lassen darauf schließen, dass die metallurgische Silberausbeute von La Preciosa an die 90% betragen wird.
Gary Hawthorn, P. Eng., Präsident der Westcoast Mineral Testing Inc., fügt hinzu: "Dies sind die höchsten Werte einer Silberausbeute bei Anwendung des Zyanidierungsprozesses an mexikanischen Silbervorkommen, die ich je gesehen habe."
Orko stellte Westcoast Mineral Testing Inc. aus North Vancouver, B.C., 5 Restgemische von Bohrkernanalysen zur Verfügung, aus denen ein Hauptgemisch mit nominal 0,4 g/t Gold und 300 g/t Silber aufbereitet wurde.
Process Research Associates (PRA) aus Richmond, B.C., führte 3 Zyanidierungstests durch. Der erste Test ergab, dass die Zyanidierung eine effektive Verarbeitungsmethode für diese Lagerstätte darstellt. Die beiden folgenden Tests bewerteten die Zyanidkonzentration und das Mahlgut. Die Zyanidierungstests ergaben Folgendes:
1. Ein mittelfeiner Mahlgrad ist von Nöten, um die Edelmetalle angemessen auf die Zyanidierung vorzubereiten. Der optimale Grad ist noch nicht festgestellt, jedoch erscheint eine Korngröße von P80 = 100 Mikrometer, oder ein Durchlass von 70% durch eine 200er Maschenweite, passend.
2. Die Tests zeigen weiterhin, dass die optimale Zyanidkonzentration bei 1-2 g/l liegen wird. Dies spiegelt eine Zyanidaufnahme von 2,3 kg/t wieder.
3. Unter diesen Voraussetzungen kann man mit 88% Silber- und 75% Goldausbeute rechnen.
4. Die Daten legen nahe, dass ein feinerer Mahlgrad die Silberausbeute auf ca. 90% erhöht.
Die Flotationskonzentration aus dem Hauptgemisch ergab lediglich 73,5% Silber- und 44,0% Goldausbeute. Die Daten aus diesem einzigen Test lassen darauf schließen, dass die Flotation höchstwahrscheinlich keine passende Verarbeitungsoption ist. Demzufolge wird man in zukünftigen Tests nur die Zyanidierung untersuchen.
Dieses erste Labortestprogramm hat die Verarbeitungsparameter für die eingereichten Proben hervorragend herausgearbeitet. Somit kann das Explorationsprogramm mit dem Wissen, dass das Material anhand eines konventionellen Umwälzungs-Zyanidierungs-Kreislaufs verarbeitet werden kann, fortgesetzt werden.
Die ersten Labortests zeigen eine Steigerung um 5% bei der Silberausbeute, im Vergleich zu den historischen Daten, die von Luismin zur Verfügung stehen. Sie zeigten eine erste Ausbeute von 85% Silber und 75% Gold an. Von anderen Stätten in Mexiko berichten Silberunternehmen Ausbeuten von 50 - 90%. Die Ergebnisse von La Preciosa erscheinen mit den besseren metallurgischen Ausbeuten vergleichbar zu sein.
Mit dem Fortschreiten des Programms werden weitere Tests unter Labormaßstäben durchgeführt werden. So soll die Allgemeingültigkeit dieser Ergebnisse ermittelt werden. Andere Verarbeitungscharakteristiken, die eine Silberausbeute von 90% oder mehr erbringen, werden ebenfalls bewertet werden.

Of particular note is a thick high-grade intercept for the Martha vein in hole BP08-280. This hole is located on the eastern side of the mineralized trend. Hole BP08-280 yielded a true thickness of 6.74 metres grading 1.111 grams per tonne gold and 561.6 grams per tonne silver for a silver equivalent of 628.2 grams per tonne. Within this intercept is 3.99 metres grading 1.822 grams per tonne gold and 927.4 grams per tonne silver for a silver equivalent of 1,036.7 grams per tonne. Also of interest is hole BP08-278 which yielded 5.10 metres grading 1.004 grams per tonne gold and 251.3 grams per tonne silver for a silver equivalent of 311.5 grams per tonne, and hole BP08-325A (a redrill of hole BP08-325, which was abandoned during drilling) yielded 6.47 metres grading 0.860 gram per tonne gold and 421.5 grams per tonne silver for a silver equivalent of 473.1 grams per tonne.

ORKO SILVER PROVIDES 2008 YEAR END SUMMARY
Orko Silver Corp. has provided a year-end summary and update of activities planned for 2009.
Calendar year 2008 represented a significant expansion of the Martha vein with four diamond drills turning until October when the company cut back to two drills in order to preserve working capital. All drills were idled in early December, with present plans to resume drilling early in 2009, subsequent to the issuance of the company's upcoming sixth resource estimate being conducted by Mine Development Associates of Reno, Nev. (MDA), and incorporating its recommendations for continuing drill testing.
During 2008, Orko Silver drilled over 70,700 metres at La Preciosa bringing the total drilled to date to over 146,000 metres in 366 holes. All drilling was conducted by Major Drilling International under the direction of Orko Silver.
In Deutschland ist der Wert offentsichtlich kaum bekannt, der Handel läuft großteils in Kanada.
Das Silber in Mexiko ist reichlich vorhanden, neue Resourcenschätzungen werden kommen.
Vermutlich werde ich hier weiterhin nur für mich selber und ein oder zwei Mitleser schreiben. Eigentlich schade!
Ein guter Explorer, der den Anlegern tatsächlich Geld bringt. Bin auch in andern drin, wo es nur Frust gibt und das board voll ist mit Anmache, Ärger und Ärger. Hier habt Ihr einen guten Wert, in den man immer noch einsteigen kann und gute Profite macht. Jetzt im Bereich von 80-90 Canadacent ist vielleicht eine Widerstandszone, wo es ein wenig runter geht. Einige Tage ist die Möglichkeit da, noch einmal einzusteigen.....
Du hast dazu einen extrem guten Einstiegszeitpunkt erwischt, Glückwunsch. Ich bin schon lange dabei (bald 2 Jahre), war schon fett im Plus (aber wozu Buchgewinne realisieren? :D), nun noch ca. 20 % im Minus. Aber ich denke dass ich bald wieder im Plus bin! ;-)
Also dann steigen wir mal in aller Ruhe weiter. 100% sollten fürs erste schon drin sein - oder?

Orko ist übrigens vom Handel ausgesetzt in Kanada und jetzt auch in Deutschland.

Sonst hat sich scheinbar noch keiner hierher verirrt. Die 65cent sind heute schon mal gefallen, also schon deutlich über 100% Performance. "Es macht sich..." so hat Manfred Krug mal in einem russischen Gedicht gesagt. "Es macht sich..." kann man auch ohne Übertreibung über unsere orko sagen. Meinst du nicht auch?
