- PRNewswire

WASHINGTON, Jul 18, 2000 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Kanakaris Wireless (OTCBulletinBoard:KKRS), the world's leader in multiple-bandwidth Internet delivery of full-length motion pictures, books and multimedia, today announced the details and TV broadcast schedule of a World Business Review interview of CEO Alex Kanakaris, in which he introduces the WEAR(TM) business plan. The broadcast will potentially reach more than 65 million television viewers internationally and target every major U.S. market from New York to Los Angeles, from Seattle to Miami, and every major market in between. Additionally, there will be airings in the Honk Kong/China market, Canada, plus in-flight viewing on TWA and United Airlines.

The show features company Chief Executive and President, Alex Kanakaris, who was interviewed by former U.S. Secretary of State Alexander Haig, and Vinton Cerf, the co-founder of the Internet and senior vice president for Data Architecture at MCI WorldCom. The international broadcast is very timely, as Kanakaris recently has positioned itself to capture an eager global audience with a European division launch.

Details of the world wide broadcast schedule are available at www.KKRS.net, and streaming video of Mr. Kanakaris' interview will be offered on the site Wednesday.

The interview highlights Kanakaris' innovative new WEAR(TM) technology, which empowers users to download cutting-edge multimedia content to view on Pocket PCs, computers, and televisions. In addition, there is discussion of Kanakaris' ability to successfully build a portfolio of exciting online multimedia content sites that generate up to 18 million hits from 106 countries monthly.

According to Mr. Kanakaris, an interview with two influential leaders -- in front of a concentrated and influential global audience -- provided his company with an excellent opportunity to discuss several upcoming initiatives that are expected to increase overall site traffic, boost strategic partnerships and ultimately result in significant revenue opportunities.

"I am confident that the opportunity to discuss our market positioning in a forum such as World Business Review -- with two very dynamic professionals -- will produce very positive results," said CEO Alex Kanakaris.

The first broadcast will air on July 25 and continue for more than one week, reaching key international markets and more than 100 U.S. cities, including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, and Chicago. The airings coincide with the launch of the next generation of Kanakaris web sites, including CinemaPop.com on August 1st, WordPop.com in August and CyberPop.com this fall.
