"In our view, investors are turning their focus to Manitok’s upcoming well results from Entice. We expect the company to release its first 3 to 5 well results from the property in early to mid-May, and believe this could serve as a material catalyst for the stock."

1st well @ Stolberg: 1,020 bbls/d (306 bbls/d net) of 43° API oil and 500 mcf/d (150 mcf/d net) of natural gas for a total of 1,103 boe/d (331 boe/d net). It is expected that the Cardium Well will be tied-in to facilities in early September 2014, after Manitok has completed drilling the remaining 2 to 3 wells on the pad.

2nd well @ Stolberg: 12 Mmcf/d (9 Mmcf/d net) with 15 bbls/Mmcf (11 bbls/Mmcf net) of 54°API condensate for a total of 2,180 boe/d (1,635 boe/d net). Manitok expects the Mannville Well to be tied-in to facilities and producing in early July 2014. Manitok intends to drill at least one follow-up Mannville well by the fourth quarter of 2014. Manitok has commenced drilling the first of up to 3 Cardium oil wells on the pad.

Manitok Energy Inc. Provides an Operational Update at Entice and Cordel-Stolberg

a horizontal well at 3-28-22-25W4, testing the middle Basal Quartz ("BQ") formation in the southern end of the Entice field ...  the well flowed ... at an average rate of 135 bbls/d of 30° API oil and 420 mcf/d of natural gas for a total rate of 205 boe/d. ... There are 5 to 7 immediate offset horizontal drilling locations and Manitok believes the opportunity could cover approximately 10 to 12 sections of prospective land and would likely require four wells per section to optimize primary recovery.

This rig will continue to drill wells in both the successful Glauc and BQ new pool discoveries at the south end of Entice until spring breakup in early 2015. Given the encouraging results to date at Entice, Manitok has mobilized a second rig ... The second rig will test up to five different oil pools (two Glauc pools and three BQ pools) before spring breakup in early 2015.

Manitok is currently drilling a forelimb well, 7-12-42-15W5, in the southern portion of the Cordel-Stolberg field. Results should be available in the next 2 to 3 weeks. Manitok is currently planning to drill another Mannville gas well and up to 2 (0.6 net) Cardium oil wells prior to year end at Stolberg.

At $2.04 per share, MEI is trading at 2.9x forecast 2014 cash flow.

With 2 rigs active in Entice, an additional 5 to 7 horizontal wells will likely be drilled prior to the end of 2014; all either BQ or Lithic Glauc wells;

5 additional new Lithic Glauc (2) or BQ (3) pools will be tested before the end of Q1 2015

580 Postings, 3662 Tage gschwaetzBuilding a large transparent drilling inventory

Corporate Plan

  • Targeting a corporate production level greater than 10,000 boe/d in the next 2 years;

  • Building a large transparent drilling inventory in order to increase cash flow, production and reserves on a per share basis;

  • Achieve corporate production of 20,000 boe/d within the next 5 years through both growth from the drill-bit and accretive acquisitions;

Zwei erfolgreiche Horizontalbohrungen hat MEI dort jetzt niedergebracht: Einen Lithic Glauc well (356 bbls/d of 40°API oil and 4.5 MMcf/d of natural gas, siehe news 28.08.2014) und einen basal quartz well (135 bbls/d of 30°API oil and 420 Mcf/d of natural gas, siehe news gestern).
Insbesondere gefallen mir die Lithic Glauc wells gut: 86% IRR, recycle ratio 2.9x, payout 1.1 years).

Fundamental:

1) 3-9-23-25W4 horizontal well in Entice, testing a lower BQ formation in the southern end ... commence the multi-stage fracture completion within the next two weeks.

2) Manitok is currently drilling a forelimb well, 7-12-42-15W5, in the southern portion of the Cordel-Stolberg field. Results should be available in the next 2 to 3 weeks.

3) the behind pipe production at Stolberg is anticipated to be on stream early in the fourth quarter of 2014 (dabei handelt es sich um eine beträchtliche Menge >1000 bopd).

Entice
Manitok has drilled a horizontal well at 3-9-23-25W4, testing the lower Basal Quartz ("BQ") formation in the southern end of the Entice field ... the well began flowing on its own ... at an average rate of 177 bbls/d of 27° API oil and 1.14 Mmcf/d of natural gas for a total rate of 367 boe/d.
... provides Manitok with a significant number of development locations

Cordel-Stolberg
Manitok has completed drilling the Cardium forelimb well in the southern portion of the Cordel-Stolberg field. The well ... resulted in rates of 297 bbls/d (121 bbls/d net) and 333 mcf/d (136 mcf/d net) totaling 352 boe/d (144 boe/d net).
The four well pad ... is anticipated to be on stream by late October 2014.
