M. E. schon bemerkenswert; auch so: es geht darum, daß Procter & Gample ( PG) um mehr als 30 % neulich abgestürzt sind.

Been reading this board since PG stock started dropping.

My husband is a PG retiree. We still have friends who work there. Yes, the drop in stock price was a shocker, to retirees and current employees.

Friends who are current employees tell us that the managers themselves are really driving themselves at reducing costs since the stock drop. They have never seen anything like it. They are scrutinizing expenses like never before. They are really watching every dime, and cutting anything that is not necessary. After all, the stock is the employees retirement. As you know we do not receive a pension. This earnings problem has really shaken the employees up. But, you can't keep a good company down and we expect things to improve.

PG people have a special corporate environment and philosophy that is drilled into them to "win, win, win". When things are not going well, they just pull together and work harder. They know they are working for their own financial future in retirement.
