Cellular One of San Francisco Implements LHS' InfoCell Converge
ATLANTA/FRANKFURT--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 21, 1999--LHS InfoCell Inc., a subsidiary of LHS Group Inc. (NASDAQ: LHSG - news; Neuer Markt: LHI), today announced that Cellular One of the San Francisco Bay Area is in production with InfoCell(TM) ConVerge.

InfoCell(TM) ConVerge provides unique functional strengths and integration between InfoCell(TM) ConVerge and Cellular One's GL, inventory, credit, payment and activation applications. Additionally, InfoCell(TM) ConVerge will allow Cellular One to do the following: provision multiple telecommunications services on one order; decrease customer activation time; decrease the occurrence of fraud through credit card authorization; reduce subscriber acquisition costs, and lower inventory costs.

InfoCell(TM) ConVerge provides centrally located reports, reducing network traffic by sending reports to users on an as-needed basis. It also provides a secured environment for report data, eliminating the possibility of information getting into the wrong hands; shows online storage and version control via the report encyclopedia, reducing duplicate and out-of-date reports; and creates object queries - allowing for quicker and easier navigation through large reports.
