Bis heute wurden offiziell 3,6 Mio.Unzen Gold durch eine NI 43-101-Studie nachgewiesen, Ziel von ITH ist es die Ressource bis Ende des Jahres auf mindestens 10 Mio. Unzen zu erhöhen. Und die Chancen dazu stehen gut, wie die letzten Bohrergebnisse zeigen. (13,7 Meter mit 5,99 g/t Gold usw...)
Ein neuer NI 43-101 Ressourcenbericht wird 55 neue Bohrlöcher beinhalten und soll im Zeitrahmen Februar/März 2009 veröffentlicht werden.

Zu den größten Anteilseignern zählen heute AngloGold Ashanti mit 14,55% und Cardero Resources mit 9,58%. Die Fondsgesellschaft Tocqueville Asset Management, Lp ist mit 17,86% beteiligt. Das Management von ITH hält 7,28% aller Aktien und 10 weitere Fonds halten nochmals 14,67%. Der Rest von 63,94% befindet sich im Umlauf.
Das Livengood-Vorkommen von ITH befindet sich im Tintina-Gold-Gürtel, in dem auch riesige Goldvorkommen wie die Fort-Knox-Mine von Kinross Gold liegen, von der Livengood nur 70 Kilometer entfernt ist. Auch das Donlin-Creek-Projekt von Barrick Gold und Novagold sowie die neue Pogo-Mine von Teck Cominco liegen dort.

Einen weiteren Volltreffer hat der Börsendienst von stockreport.de mit der Aufnahme der Aktie von International Tower Hill Mines (WKN 694643 / TSX: ITH) gelandet. Mit dem Kauf ins Musterdepot Ende 2008 riet man gleichzeitig um die 1,30 CAD (kanadische Dollar) oder 0,81 EUR einzusteigen. In der Spitze konnte die Aktie bis auf 2,05 CAD oder 57,69% zulegen, die Leser von stockreport.de sind also erneut auf der Gewinnerseite.
International Tower Hill Mines (im Folgenden ITH genannt) legte erst vor einigen Tagen neue Bohrergebnisse für das "Multi Millionen Unzen" Livengood Projekt vor, dessen Highlights beispielsweise 13,7 Meter mit 5,99 g/t Gold oder 4,6 Meter mit 19,89 g/t Gold waren. Im Branchenvergleich sind diese Ergebnisse als sehr gut einzustufen.
Aktuell wurden 168 Löcher gebohrt und die Analyse zeigt, dass Livengood für neue Funde noch in alle Richtungen hin offen ist. ITH hat sich für dieses Jahr das Ziel gesetzt, die Ressource auf dem Livengood Projekt auf 10 Mio. Unzen Gold oder mehr zu erhöhen. Die Experten von stockreport.de gehen sogar von 11 bis 13 Mio. Unzen bis Ende des Jahres aus.
Alaska bietet eine der letzten Chancen für große Goldentdeckungen, so Jeff Pontius, der Präsident und CEO des Explorationsunternehmens International Tower Hill Mines. Er sollte es wissen. Denn er war Explorationsmanager für Nordamerika bei der südafrikanischen Anglogold Ashanti, einem der größten Goldproduzenten der Erde. Als sich die Südafrikaner 2006 aus Nordamerika zurückzogen, nutzte der clevere Geologe die Chance und brachte die Alaska-Aktivitäten von Ashanti in ITH ein.

Bis heute wurden offiziell 3,6 Mio.Unzen Gold durch eine NI 43-101-Studie nachgewiesen, die letzten Auswertungen der Bohrergebnisse zeigen aber deutlich, dass man davon ausgehen kann, dass sich die Menge an Gold in diesem Projekt leicht verdoppeln könnte und wie bereits geschrieben, die Ausdehnung der gesamten Mineralisierung ist noch gar nicht vollständig bekannt.
Das Livengood-Vorkommen von ITH befindet sich im Tintina-Gold-Gürtel, in dem auch riesige Goldvorkommen wie die Fort-Knox-Mine von Kinross Gold liegen, von der Livengood nur 70 Kilometer entfernt ist. Die Abbauvoraussetzungen bei Livengood sind ideal, denn neben einer hervorragenden Anbindung durch vorhandene Infrastruktur besteht auch die Möglichkeit, das Gold mittels "heap leaching" vom Rest des Erzkörpers mit hohen Prozentraten zu trennen. Der Unterschied zum normalen Minenabbau liegt darin, dass beim Leaching das im Erz gebundene Metall durch Einspeisung von Säuren oder Laugen herausgespült wird. Zum einen umweltschonend, da die Landschaft intakt bleibt, dazu noch hohe Gewinnungsraten und vergleichsweise niedrige Kosten. Wichtig ist jedoch, dass die in den Boden gepumpten Flüssigkeiten nicht das Grundwasser verschmutzen.
Zitat Jeff Pontius: "Wir besitzen in Livengood ein ausgezeichnetes Landpaket. Zudem ist Alaska bergbaufreundlich und wirtschaftlich auch auf den Aufbau von Minen angewiesen."
Livengood befindet sich zudem in einem Gebiet, das dem "Alaska Department on Mental Health" gehört und über die Vergabe von Minenrechten die Staatskasse auffüllen soll. Das sichert die staatliche Unterstützung und die möglichen US-Bundesabgaben auf Mineneinnahmen sind damit kein Thema für ITH.
Ein neuer NI 43-101 Ressourcenbericht wird 55 neue Bohrlöcher beinhalten und soll im Zeitrahmen Februar/März 2009 veröffentlicht werden.
Ein kleines Gedankenspiel: Aktuell kommt ITH auf einen Börsenwert von 110 Mio. CAD. Nehmen wir 10 Mio. Unzen Gold, die ITH bis Ende 2009 erreichen will und eine Market Cap von 150 Mio. CAD (falls der Kurs weiter steigt) an, wäre ITH mit einen sensationellen Wert von 15 CAD oder 12 USD pro Unze Gold bewertet Sie wissen, dass der Goldpreis derzeit über 800 USD pro Unze liegt, und wir von stockreport.de gehen von weiter steigenden Notierungen aus. Estimated Gold Resource Increases by 70%
3.41M Ounces Gold Indicated and 3.39M Ounces Gold Inferred
Mineralization Remains Open For Expansion in All Directions
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Jan. 28, 2009) - International Tower Hill Mines Ltd. ("ITH" or "the Company") - (TSX VENTURE:ITH)(NYSE Alternext US:THM)(FRANKFURT:IW9) is pleased to announce the results of its independent 2008 year-end updated mineral resource estimate for the Livengood gold project, near Fairbanks, Alaska. The independent study incorporates all of the 2008 drilling (a total of 183 core and reverse circulation holes) and trenching (totalling over 41,063 metres). The updated indicated gold resource is 128.6 M/t at an average grade of 0.83 g/t (3.41M ounces gold) and inferred resource of 142.1 M/t at an average grade of 0.74 g/t (3.39M ounces gold), based on a cut off grade of 0.50 g/t gold (Table 1). This updated estimate represents a 70% increase of the gold resource from the previous estimate (as at September 27, 2008) reported on October 29, 2008 (NR08-22).
The expansion of the deposit over the past 12 months incorporates the discovery of the larger and higher grade Core Zone area in the Money Knob target. The Livengood Gold Deposit remains open for expansion in all directions. The Core Zone area has an estimated indicated gold resource of 68.8 M/t at an average grade of 1.03 g/t gold (2.28M ounces) and an estimated inferred gold resource of 65.2 M/t at an average grade of 0.93 g/t gold (1.95M ounces) based on a cut off grade of 0.70 g/t gold.
"ITH is extremely pleased to see the rapid expansion of the higher confidence indicated component of the gold resource, which grew by 84% in this updated estimate," stated Jeff Pontius, President & CEO. "We plan to commence our 2009 drill program in the next few weeks."
Given the deposit's favourable low strip ratio geometry and recently announced positive metallurgical results for both the oxide/transitional and unoxidized material, the Company believes that the deposit has reached an important critical mass for development considerations, with the potential to grow significantly larger. The new data also illustrates the rapid expansion of the higher grade component of the deposit with a 65% increase in ounces at the 0.7 g/t cut off (Table 2).

The overall deposit at a 0.3 g/t cut off, which is a more typical cut off for large bulk tonnage heap leach deposits, has expanded approximately 53% (Table 3).

Livengood Project Highlights
- The new resource estimate for the Livengood Deposit makes it one of the largest new gold discoveries made globally over the past decade.
- Numerous holes on the edge of the current drill pattern and holes drilled as significant step outs (several hundred metres) have returned thick +1 g/t gold intervals - indicating significant expansion potential for the higher-grade Core Zone of the deposit to the northeast, southwest and south.
- Many of the holes completed in the second half of 2008 ended in significant mineralization, outlining the good potential for expanding the deposit at depth.
- The current drilling at Livengood only covers about 2 square kilometres of the Main Gold Target, which is approximately 12 square kilometres in area, offering excellent district scale exploration potential.
- Ongoing metallurgical studies continue to support the deposit's potential for heap leach gold recovery. Initial test work suggests that enhanced recoveries might be achieved with milling; these results are now being followed up with a series of milling tests.
- The geometry of the currently defined shallowly dipping, outcropping mineralized zone suggests a low strip, open pit mining potential.
- The project has a favourable logistical location and no major permitting hurdles have been identified to date.
The Company will begin its 2009 Phase I drill program at Livengood in early February - consisting of 6,000 metres of reverse circulation drilling targeting areas within and adjacent to the existing resource model where blocks are currently unestimated. These areas have numerous higher grade holes adjacent to them and are expected to add significantly to the resource. Following the return of these results in mid-Q2, the Company will complete a new resource model which will form the basis of an initial Preliminary Economic Analysis of the deposit. Phase II of the 2009 drilling is scheduled to commence in June and is designed to further expand the deposit, as well as to initially test for potential deep, high-grade feeder zone targets. The Company will continue with its monthly release of drill results beginning in March, 2009 and extending through the year. The Livengood project has a very favourable logistical location, being situated 110 road kilometres north of Fairbanks, Alaska along the paved all-weather Elliot Highway and the Trans Alaska Pipeline Corridor; and approximately 55 kilometres north of the Alaska State power grid and along the proposed Alaska natural gas pipeline route.
Project Background
ITH controls 100% of its 44 square kilometre Livengood land package that is primarily comprised of leased land from the Alaska Mental Health Trust and a number of smaller private mineral leases. The Company and its predecessor, AngloGold Ashanti (U.S.A.) Exploration Inc., have been exploring the Livengood area since 2003, with the project's first indicated resource estimate being announced in early 2008. The 2008 drilling program marks the first grid drilling resource definition campaign for the project and is only the initial step in what the Company envisions as a major long-term exploration program to define what it anticipates is one of the world's larger new gold deposits.
Updated Resource Estimate
On January 26, 2009 Giroux Consultants Ltd., independent geological consultants, delivered their updated resource estimate for the Livengood project, incorporating all of the drilling carried out in 2008. The updated estimate was prepared as at January 26, 2009 in accordance with the requirements of NI 43-101. The indicated and inferred mineral resource estimate for the Livengood deposit covers an area of approximately 3.6 square kilometres and is based on 173 drill holes and 11 trenches.
Approximately one third of the total estimated area (1.3 square kilometres) contains 132 of the drillholes and, in this area, the geology has been modeled to represent the volumes of the different stratigraphic units on the property. Outside of the modeled area all the data was grouped together because there was insufficient geological control for more detailed analysis. Statistically, each of the geological volumes was treated independently with individual capping grades applied. However, the populations were not sufficiently different to be kriged independently.
Variogram modeling was done using 5-metre composites with the variography showing excellent continuity downdip and across dip with lesser continuity along strike. Bulk density was estimated on the basis of individual density measurements made on core samples and reverse circulation drill chips from each stratigraphic unit. In total, 95 measurements were used. Based on the general geology, a bulk density of 2.68 was used for the area outside the modeled volume. In the model, blocks with dimensions of 20 x 20 metres horizontal and 5 metres vertical were estimated by ordinary kriging.
The geology of the holes around the margins of the currently drilled area indicates that the favourable host stratigraphy and alteration remain open laterally and at depth, thus indicating that the system could potentially be much larger than the current estimate.
A detailed description of the updated resource estimate and other pertinent geological information related to the Livengood project will be included in a NI 43-101 compliant technical report being prepared for the Company by Mineral Resource Services Inc. and Giroux Consultants Ltd. and to be filed on SEDAR within 45 days of this news release.
Qualified Person and Quality Control/Quality Assurance
The work program at Livengood was designed and is supervised by Dr. Russell Myers, Vice President of Exploration, and Chris Puchner, Chief Geologist (CPG 07048), for ITH who are responsible for all aspects of the work, including the quality control/quality assurance program. On-site personnel at the project log and track all samples prior to sealing and shipping to ALS Chemex for assay. ALS Chemex's quality system complies with the requirements for the International Standards ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 17025: 1999. Analytical accuracy and precision are monitored by the analysis of reagent blanks, reference material and replicate samples. Quality control is further assured by the use of international and in-house standards. Finally, representative blind duplicate samples are forwarded to ALS Chemex and an ISO compliant third party laboratory for additional quality control.
Mr. Gary Giroux, MASc., P. Eng (B.C.), a consulting geological engineer employed by Giroux Consultants Ltd., has acted as the Qualified Person, as defined in NI 43-101, for the Giroux Consultants Ltd. mineral resource estimate. He has over 30 years of experience in all stages of mineral exploration, development and production. Mr. Giroux specializes in computer applications in ore reserve estimation, and has consulted both nationally and internationally in this field. He has authored many papers on geostatistics and ore reserve estimation and has practiced as a Geological Engineer since 1970 and provided geostatistical services to the industry since 1976. Both Mr. Giroux and Giroux Consultants Ltd. are independent of the Company under NI 43-101.

| gestern Abend veröffentlichte unser Musterdepotwert International Tower Hill Mines (WKN 694643 / TSX:ITH) ein Ressourcenupdate zum Livengood Projekt. Bei einem Cut-Off Grad von 0,5 g/t erhöhte sich die Ressource von 4 Mio. Unzen auf 6,8 Mio. Unzen Gold. Die angepeilten 10 Mio. Unzen bis Jahresende sollten bei den aktuellen Ergebnissen kein Problem sein, und sogar noch übertroffen werden. Vor rund 2 Monaten haben wir die Aktie zu 1,30 CAD ins Musterdepot gekauft, aktuell kann ITH in Kanada auf 2,50 CAD zulegen. Auch wenn die Aktie jetzt mit 92% in kurzer Zeit im Plus liegt, ist das Potential noch nicht vollkommen ausgeschöpft. Deshalb bleibt dieser Titel weiterhin in unserem Portfolio. Man möchte vor allem die Erweiterungen von Livengood nach Nordost, Südwest und Süden testen. Man rechnet damit diese Ergebnisse in der Mitte des zweiten Quartals 09 zu erhalten. Diese wird dann Grundlage für ein erneutes Ressourcenupdate sein, und wird zu einer vorläufigen ökonomischen Studie des Livengood Projekts führen. Gold und Silber vor der Preisexplosion
Gold steht kurz vor einem Ausbruch über die oberste Trendlinie, die am Montag zum dritten mal berührt wurde nach acht Tagen Anstieg von 800 $ her, dem letzten Boden. Weil man von Oktober 2006 bis März 2008 keine fertige Impulsbewegung (5 Wellen) sehen kann, ist die Wahrscheinlichkeit sehr gross, dass diese Analyse richtig ist. Ebenso ist eine Kopf-Schulter Formation sichtbar, deren Nackenlinie bereits durchbrochen ist und der Preis zur ersten Korrektur ansetzt. Die nächste Bewegung ist der Anfang der Explosion.

Big gold discovery north of Fairbanks announced
FAIRBANKS -- A gold find at Livengood is one of the largest new gold discoveries in the world in the past decade, an exploration company said.
International Tower Hill released Wednesday an updated estimate of reserves at the property about 70 miles north of Fairbanks. The company said the gold resource estimate is 70 percent greater than they believed it to be in October.
The find has topped 5 million ounces and ITH President Jeffrey Pontius expects the total gold contained will hit 10 million ounces.
"We have found a really exceptional concentration of gold that Mother Nature put out there," he said. "That's a tremendous thing."
Further exploration will determine how much of that is recoverable, and under what type of process. Drilling will continue through the winter, and early economic estimates that may determine how to mine the gold are expected in July, he said.
Pontius sees a promising future for gold.
"People are looking at that as a safe haven in these economic times," he said. "That's going to be a big demand in the future."

Bei welcher anderen Gesellschaft gibt es das noch?
Nur um ein Drittel der Bewertung von Osisko zu kriegen, muss die Aktie noch gute 100% steigen, für ein Drittel deren Bewertung bei nahezu gleichen Unzen wohlgemerkt 
Vergleichbar ist es eh nicht, aber ein Anhalt, was eine Unze wert sein kann. Ein Drittel davon sollte auch genug Sicherheit haben. OSK ist viel weiter und hat nen Sack voll Cash. Und selbst wenn man mit einem viertel ran geht, hat ITH immer noch gut 50% Aufholpotenzial. Um auf den heutigen Stand von OSK zu kommen, brauchen wir 100mio Aktien outstanding. 20mio Dollar aus den Warrants und Options für die notwendigen Arbeiten (sind dann 55mio) + ein PP zu 3 mit 45mio Stücken. Das wären dann 60mio wenige,r als OSK OS hat und die MK immer noch weniger als die Hälfte von OSK.
Nach Fräulein Milchmädchen gerechnet und sicherlich diskutabel im Detail!

(ITH or the Company) (TSX: ITH; NYSE-MKT: THM) today announced the results of a Pre-Feasibility Study (the PFS) on an optimized configuration for its Livengood Gold Project (the Project) located near Fairbanks, Alaska. The engineering optimization studies incorporated in the PFS evaluated several scenarios, ultimately selecting a project that will process 52,600 tons per day and produce 6.8 million ounces of gold over 23 years. This improved configuration has reduced the capital costs (CAPEX) by 34% or $950 million to $1.84 billion, the process operating cost (process OPEX) by 28% or $2.97 per ton to $7.48 per ton, and the all-in sustaining costs by 16% or $242 to $1,263 per ounce, all as compared to the 100,000 tons per day project evaluated in the September 2013 Feasibility Study (the FS). All dollar figures in this news release are stated in US Dollars.
