Tepal Property”, ACA Howe International Ltd. (“Howe”) has estimated the Tepal Property contains an inferred resource of 79.9 million tonnes grading 0.49 grams/tonne ("g/t") gold and 0.25% copper, for a contained 1.15 million ounces (“ozs.”) gold and 413 million pounds (“lbs”) copper or 2.4 million oz. gold equivalent based on $700/oz. gold and $2.20/lb copper prices. The known resource remains open for possible expansion in multiple directions and numerous targets remain untested throughout the property.


The Company’s exploration plan for 2010 consists of:

•Completion of the 3 km by 5 km geophysical survey on the core Tepal claims
•Drilling peripheral to the known resource area and new targets identified by the geophysical survey

Bohrungen von Geologix bei Tepal dehnen die Zone South in der Tiefe mit erhöhten Gehalten von 0,86 g/T Gold und 0,38% Kupfer auf über 102,4 Meter aus

Vancouver (BC), 26. Oktober 2011 – Geologix Explorations Inc. (TSX: GIX) (das „Unternehmen“) ist erfreut, die ersten Ergebnisse der aktuellen Ressourcenerweiterungs- und Infill-Bohrprogramme beim zu 100% unternehmenseigenen Konzessionsgebiet Tepal im mexikanischen Bundesstaat Michoacán bekanntzugeben. Die Ergebnisse von 20 Bohrungen, die bei der Zone South des Projekts niedergebracht worden sind, sind im Rahmen des anhaltenden Explorations- und Erschließungsprogramms eingegangen.

Die Ergebnisse werden von Bohrung TEP-11-012, die 279,45 Meter (m) mit 0,54 Gramm pro Tonne (g/t) und 0,26 Prozent (%) einschließlich 102,45 m mit 0,86 g/t Gold und 0,38% Kupfer durchteufte, hervorgehoben. Ein hochhaltiger Abschnitt in dieser Bohrung von 67,55 m wies Gehalte von 1,01 g/t Gold und 0,42% Kupfer auf. Diese Bohrung wurde am südlichen Ende der Zone South niedergebracht und erweiterte die Mineralisierung in der Tiefe um weitere 75 Meter unterhalb der Sohle der im April 2011 abgegrenzten NI 43-101-konformen Ressource (siehe Pressemitteilung vom 11. April 2011). Diese bleibt weiterhin offen (siehe Bohrabschnitt). Desweiteren sind die Gehalte im 102,45 m mächtigen Abschnitt von 0,86 g/t Gold und 0,38% Kupfer etwa doppelt so hoch wie die durchschnittlichen Gehalte von 0,41 g/t Gold und 0,22% Kupfer bei der Zone South im Minenplan der NI 43-101-konformen wirtschaftlichen Erstbewertung (Preliminary Assessment) vom April 2011.

Insbesondere sind wir über die Erweiterung in der Tiefe und die hohen Gehalte in Bohrung TEP-11-012 erfreut, da mittels dieser Bohrung zum ersten Mal Untersuchungen außerhalb der bisherigen Ressourcengrenzen durchgeführt worden sind. Diese frühen Ergebnisse geben uns Zuversicht, in den anschließenden Bohrungen bei den Zonen South und North, die noch gemeldet werden müssen, weitere Mineralisierung in der Tiefe abgrenzen zu können. Insgesamt sind die Ergebnisse von über 140 weiteren Bohrungen ausständig.“

Das aktuelle 30.000 Meter umfassende Bohrprogramm ist zu 95% abgeschlossen; die Aufzeichnungen und Analyse der Bohrkerne sollen bis Dezember anhalten. Zwei Bohrgeräte werden derzeit zurückbehalten, um das geotechnische Testprogramm im Rahmen der Vormachbarkeitsstudie durchzuführen. Da mehrere Zonen weiterhin für eine potenzielle Erweiterung offen sind und die aktuellen Feldarbeiten neue Bohrziele erschließen, geht das Unternehmen davon aus, die Bohrungen 2012 im Rahmen seiner anhaltenden Agenda zur Erweiterung und Erschließung des Projekts wieder aufzunehmen.

Andrew Hamilton (B.Sc., P.Geo.), Ressourcengeologe bei Geologix und qualifizierter Sachverständiger gemäß NI 43-101, hat die Daten (einschließlich Proben- und Analysedaten) bestätigt und die Informationen in dieser Pressemitteilung zusammengestellt. ALS-Chemex hat sämtliche Proben beim Projekt entnommen und zu seiner Probenaufbereitungsanlage in Guadalajara im mexikanischen Bundesstaat Jalisco gebracht. Die Analyse der Proben wurde letztendlich im Labor von ALS-Chemex in North Vancouver (BC) durchgeführt. Ein Qualitätssicherungs- und –kontrollprogramm wurde implementiert, um sicherzustellen, dass alle Kern- und Probenabwicklungsverfahren den bestmöglichen Methoden entsprechen. Das Untersuchungsprotokoll sieht das Hinzufügen von Standard-, Leer- und Doppelproben in den Probenstrom vor.

Highlights from these most recent drill assay results include hole TEP-11-075 which intersected 140.70 metres (m) grading 0.87 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 0.36 percent (%) copper, and hole TEP-11-072 which intersected 76.00m grading 0.77 g/t gold and 0.59% copper. Dunham Craig, President & CEO, stated, "We are pleased with these latest results as eighty (80) of the last ninety-one (91) holes being reported encountered mineralization equal to, or greater than the Company's internal North Zone cut-off and represent the final data required to complete the upgraded resource estimation currently being conducted by Micon International Limited. Additionally, multiple holes drilled within the central portion of the North Zone returned intervals of gold and copper grades well in excess of the 2011 Preliminary Assessment North Zone's mine plan average grade of 0.37 g/t gold and 0.24% copper. These elevated grades found over substantial intersections support the potential for the North Zone to host a sizable higher grade starter pit which could positively impact Tepal's production profile, specifically within the critical early years of the project's mine life."

As indicated in the accompanying drill section, drilling at the outer edges of the zone encountered elevated grades outside the previous resource outline (see Preliminary Assessment news release dated April 11, 2011), evidencing the potential to expand the resource outline laterally. Infill drill holes completed in this program returned assays consistent with previously reported North Zone drilling and should provide the necessary data to both produce the pending upgraded resource estimation to Measured and Indicated categories and to complete the subsequent pre-feasibility study.

Geologix's Resource Geologist, Andrew Hamilton, B.Sc., P. Geo., a 'qualified person' for the purposes of National Instrument 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Properties of the Canadian Securities Administrators, has verified the data (including sampling and analytical data) and prepared the information contained in this news release. All samples were collected from the project by ALS-Chemex, and taken to their sample preparation facility in Guadalajara, Jalisco State, Mexico, with the analytical work being completed at their North Vancouver, B.C. laboratory. A QA/QC program has been implemented to ensure all core and sample handling procedures are in accordance with the best possible practices. The assay protocol includes the insertion of standards, blanks and duplicates into the sample stream.

BC: We also see upside in Geologix Explorations Inc. (GIX:TSX), which has a $44M market cap. Geologix's Tepal project in Mexico shows a PEA with a $412M NPV at 5%. And, there's a potential for this to continue growing. There's a new resource estimate expected in March and a prefeasibility study in June. Depending on how the prefeasibility study goes, it could be in production in 2014.

Da ja nun die Ressourcenschätzung die nächsten Tage eintrudeln sollte (angekündigt für das 1. Quartal) und das MM im Vorfeld kursbeeinflussender News nicht kaufen darf, geht man stattdessen hin und sichert sich eine dicke Portion Optionen, um von einem eventuellen Kursanstieg zu profitieren. Diese Optionen sind aus einem auf der Hauptversammlung genehmigten Optionsprogramm mit variablem Optionspreis. Somit keine Verwässerung der bereits bekannten fully dilution. Ich denke das deshalb auch der Kurs in letzter Zeit nicht über die 0,40 CAD durfte (mehrfach abgeprallt). Es wird spannend.

Gold zeigt heut endlich wieder Aufwärtstrend.........man siehts am Kurs sofort.

Die Ressourcenschätzung sollte die nächsten zwei Wochen kommen.

 

Bei GIX ist alles im grünen Bereich. Die Kursrückgänge auf breiter Front sind dem Umfeld geschuldet. Wir sollten mit der Aktie noch viel Freude haben. Meine letzte Info der Ir war, dass mit Hochdruck an der Ressourcenschätzung gearbeitet wird.
