Company Profile
Our company and its subsidiaries (collectively the “Group”) provide premium pediatric nutritional and baby care products for high-end mother consumers in China. According to Euromonitor International, Biostime™ products occupied approximately 85.4% market share in terms of retail sales in the children’s probiotic supplements market, and approximately 13.1% market share in terms of retail sales in the supreme-tier infant formula market in China in 2009. The Group also owns BMcare™ baby care products launched in May 2010. Our products are categorized as follows:Probiotic Supplements: Probiotic sachets, tablets and capsules for infants, children and expectant mothers
Infant Formulas: Infant and mother formulas
Dried Baby Food Products:Baby cereals; assorted fruit, vegetable, meat and other food powders
Baby Care Products:Baby diapers; shampoo, bath gel and baby oil; nursing pads; oral care products for babies and expectant mothers
The Group has experienced significant growth in our revenue and net profit for the past few years. Revenue and net profit increased at a CAGR of 95% and 175% from 2008 to 2010, reaching RMB1233.6 million and RMB265.7 million in 2010. To further solidify relationships with and among consumers and sales channels, the Group has established the Mama100 Membership Program. As of Dec 31, 2010, the Group had 465,536 active members.
Looking forward into 2011, the Group is confident to capture the abundant opportunities in China’s fast growing market of premium pediatric nutritional and baby care products. The Group will continue to increase its brand recognition among consumers and expand its distribution channels. The Group will further development of its core Mama100 Membership Program. The Group will also firmly cooperate with its reputable suppliers and enrich its product range to satisfy the ever changing needs of high-end mother consumers.
