BBC vor Beteiligung bei MME (576115) ?!

Das wäre nett für den MME-Kurs! Könnte mir vorstellen, das die riesigen Umsätze vor 3-4 Wochen schon damit zu tun hatten, als 15% der gesamten Aktienanzahl innerhalb einer Woche gehandelt wurden!

Nach Informationen des Hamburger Informationsdienstes new business (www.new-business.de) plant der britische TV-Sender BBC eine Beteiligung an der Hamburger
TV-Produktionsgesellschaft MME Me Myself & Eye Entertainment AG. Auf
eine entsprechende new-business-Anfrage erklärte MME, dass ein
BBC-Einstieg "nicht ausgeschlossen" sei. Allerdings könne man vor der
Hauptversammlung, die im Juni stattfinden wird, noch nicht mehr dazu
sagen.

Mit der BBC arbeitet MME bereits seit Jahren erfolgreich zusammen.
So produzieren die Hamburger unter anderem die deutsche Version der
britischen Musik-Show "Top of the Pops", die hierzulande bei RTL
läuft. Außerdem wird MME auch demnächst eine neue ZDF-Sendung
realisieren, die sich am Konzept des BBC-Formats "Great Britons"
orientiert. Die Show über prominente Deutsche soll ab Oktober 2003 zu
sehen sein. (Das berichtete "Der Spiegel" am vergangenen Montag,
allerdings ohne Hinweis auf den Produzenten MME.)

Im Hinblick auf die MME-Gesellschafter-Struktur ist noch
festzuhalten, dass der Heinrich Bauer Verlag, der 2001 noch 29,8
Prozent der MME-Anteile hielt, sein Engagement nun vollständig
aufgegeben hat. Den Bauer-Ausstieg hat MME vergangene Woche in einer
Pflichtmitteilung kundgetan.  

Da kauft eben jemand 3000 Stück aus dem ASK (vorher standen 3300 dort) und jetzt stellt der Sack seine 2000 wieder vor das 9000er Paket bei 0,65! Völlig unsinnig, oder will der den Ausbruch über die 200-Tage-Linie bei 0,64 verhindern!?

Übrigens, seit Mittwoch ist das neue Format beschlossene Sache! In England war es super erfolgreich! Und wie ich die historisch interessierten Deutschen kenne, dürfte es hier ähnlich laufen!

BBC format to find the greatest German
German public broadcaster ZDF is to repeat the success of BBC’s ‘Great Britons’ and ask the nation: ”Who is the greatest German?” ZDF licensed the format of the interactive show from BBC Worldwide, the commercial arm of the BBC, and is to launch the nation-wide debate later this year. ‘Unsere Besten,’ (‘Our best’), the current working title, will be co-produced in Germany by ZDF, BBC Worldwide and Hamburg based production company MME.

‘Great Britons’ led to months of lively public debate in the UK as the British audience put forward their candidates for the top 100, watched the top 10 being advocated by well-known Brits and finally cast their vote for the ‘Greatest Briton’ of all time. The widespread interest was reflected by high ratings, with the final attracting more than three million viewers.

‘Unsere Besten’ will follow the format of the BBC show, with a proposed two-month nomination process and a launch programme to present the top 100 and introduce the top 10. Each of the nation’s ten favourites will be backed and promoted by a famous German over five consecutive episodes and a special programme will be devoted to the grand finale.

Viewers will be able to cast their votes - from the initial top 100 through to the final - by telephone, SMS and through the Internet.

Mark Young, managing director BBC Worldwide, Europe, Middle East, India & Africa, said: ”This is our first co-production of an entertainment format with ZDF, and the concept could not have found a better home in Germany. It will be a very exciting show, if you only think of all the strong candidates: Goethe, Bach, Luther, or perhaps Marx, or Gottlieb Daimler or even Franz Beckenbauer?”

Dr. Thomas Bellut, Programm Director of ZDF, added: ”Unsere Besten” will be educational as well as highly entertaining. To let the audience vote for the greatest German in history will be one of ZDF’s top events at the end of the year
